Following the meetings of Northern Development’s four Regional Advisory Committees, the Board of Directors meets to review complete funding applications submitted prior to the most recent application intake deadline.
Following the board meeting, Northern Development staff will notify the applicant of the Board’s funding decision by phone. A formal letter is issued by mail to the applicant.
Northern Development is managed by a board of thirteen directors of which eight are elected officials and five are business leaders appointed by the Government of British Columbia. The Northern Development Initiative Trust Board is chaired by Evan Saugstad, Provincial Appointee, Northeast Region.
