A covered event facility will be built at Peace Island Park along the south banks of the Peace River later this summer, thanks in part to help from Northern Development Initiative Trust. Northern Development Initiative Trust and Commonwealth Campus have reached a settlement to end a legal proceeding regarding development lands in the 400 block of George Street.
