Northern Development board selects new CEO

Earlier this year, Northern Development Initiative Trust announced that our current Chief Executive Officer (CEO) would be retiring this fall and that the Trust would commence the search for her replacement. Trust approves $250,000 for event facility at Peace Island Park

A covered event facility will be built at Peace Island Park along the south banks of the Peace River later this summer, thanks in part to help from Northern Development Initiative Trust. The Trust’s board of directors approved a $250,000 grant to support the project at their most recent board meeting. Northern Development and Commonwealth Campus reach settlement

Northern Development Initiative Trust and Commonwealth Campus have reached a settlement to end a legal proceeding regarding development lands in the 400 block of George Street. Marketing initiative will help more disabled persons enjoy Northern B.C.’s outdoor amenities

JULY 4, 2016  |  A new marketing initiative aims to showcase Northern B.C.’s accessible recreation sites in an effort to help more disabled people enjoy the region’s outdoor amenities.
