What if I submitted an application and I have not been contacted yet?
All applications submitted prior to the intake temporarily closing have been notified that the application and support documents have been received and will be assessed for funding. If you have submitted an application and have not received this response, please contact ana@northerndevelopment.bc.ca.
Note that applications sent after 4:00 pm on February 3, 2021 will not be accepted or assessed for funding.
When will I find out if my application has been approved?
Northern Development staff will process all complete applications received prior to the temporary intake closing. Staff will be in contact and provide a funding decision within 10 business days if there are no revisions or changes to the application required.
How can I find out the status of my application?

If I submitted an application and have not been contacted, do I need to re-submit in June?
If your application was submitted, but we were unable to accept the funding request because it was submitted after the intake closed, a fresh application and current consultant proposal would need to be resubmitted in June. Note that the program does not support projects that have already been completed. If your project is scheduled to start prior to the intake reopening, the project will not be eligible for funding.Â
